Using a sample PowerPoint presentation, here are the 5 steps I have used to demonstrate the process of making a PowerPoint presentation.
 

1.      Outline

    - This PowerPoint demonstrates what I wanted the students to do in each of their presentations. It can be used as a template for the students to follow.
 

2.      Information

    - Based on the notes the student made from their source.
 

3.      Photos added

    - Pictures taken from Google image search.
 

4.      Background

    - The same presentation with slide designs added.
 

5.      Transitions and effects

    - The same presentation again with a variety of special effects.
