Creating video tutorials with screen capture software:

 
 

In a nutshell, a video tutorial is recording of your computer screen. To create a video tutorial, you
need screen capture software. The screen capture software will record your voice, mouse clicks, and whatever is on your screen. You can then distribute these video tutorials on the web or give them to students on CD-ROM.

All you need to create video tutorials is a microphone and screen capture software (see link below).

Video tutorials can be used as:

1  A way to explain complicated subject matter, step-by-step.

2  Study material for your students.

3  Answer student questions sent by e-mail (sometimes faster than typing things out!).
