The term "screenshot" refers to a snapshot of
your computer screen.

Screenshots can be an effective way of
inserting images into your handouts,
assignments, or presentations to make them
more visually appealing.

Screenshots can then be inserted into Microsoft
Word, PowerPoint or other Windows applications.

A screenshot can be taken of the entire screen or a screenshot can be of only a particular window on your screen. A screenshot of only one window is useful when you only want an image of a particular application running on the computer without other distracting information.
