We have sold to all of the Canadian provinces and almost all of the United States. A small percentage was sold to Europe and Asia. I put up a map of Canada, the United States and the world in the classroom. As we sold to different cities, the student who made the sale put a pin on the map. I am not certain how much the students learned about geography, but before we did this exercise, I did not know the states in the US. (Now I can even estimate the shipping based on a zip code!).

  • Most of our US customers are from California, Texas and Florida.
  • Postage is an important issue and it is worth learning the rates. If you are listing the shipping costs on your auctions, make certain you know the cost to California, Florida and British Columbia. This is so you won't lose money on shipping to any corner of Canada or the USA.
  • Canada Post's parcel rate calculator is available on-line.
  • The post office will also supply you with a sheet outlining the postal rates.
