This activity is a cross-curricular collaborative supplement for the following courses in the adult education curriculum in Quebec, Canada:
- Canadian Literature ENG 5153-3
- The Arts, Local Program ARS 5011-1&2
- Community Life PRS 5050-2
- English Level 4 and 5
- Computer Arts
Time needed for this activity: 4 hours +

- Create a new Word Processing Document.
- Save it as "Culture Project".
- Write the title "Culture Project", in bold, at the top of the page.
- Write your name underneath the title, not in bold.
- Center both using the correct icon from the formatting tool bar.
- Minimize this document and use it as needed during the course of this project.
- When you are ready to begin working on an activity, copy and paste the activity heading into your document. For example in the first activity you will copy and paste the title: 1. Brainstorming - What is Canadian Culture?
- Follow the directions and enter your work under each heading, dividing it into sections a, b, etc.
- Use this structure for your entire project, and you will finish with a nicely organized, printable document.
- You are now ready to begin.
