Comparing Two Countries

The aim of this project is for you to research two countries in the world and for you then to present your findings
and comparisons.

The project is made up of 3 stages:

    Background information on topics eg. Climate, environmental issues, economy and how wealth
       is measured, natural disasters etc.

    Research the 2 countries that you have chosen. Try to pick two countries that you think would
       be very different. Maybe they come from different continents, hemispheres or one may seem be
       richer or more fortunate than the other.

    Presentation – your presentation can be done in a variety of ways. You could use a word processing
       package like Word, you could use a presentation package like PowerPoint or you could use a
       blog site to present your work.

The idea is that you ‘pick and choose’ the technology that you are comfortable with or that you are interested in using.  For example, you can use the internet for research and produce your presentation as a hand-written document or you could word process your document. If you want you can use Excel to produce your climate graphs or you could draw them by hand and likewise you could produce your map showing the countries you have selected by hand or you could mark them on a Google map which you then insert into a document. You may want to work with a partner and video your presentations which you can then edit using MovieMaker. The only thing you need to bear in mind is that this is your project and how you present your findings is up to you!
