Tutorials
This is a good site for beginners to learn about basic tasks.
This is a well illustrated and indexed tutorial but heavy on text.
This site is set up so the user can work through the tutorials easily by following the step by step instructions. Examples are available to facilitate learning. A good table of contents helps you to access the information quickly
Two websites offer "viewlets" to help users understand specific tasks.( A viewlet is an animated presentation with text-bubble or voice commentary to guide you through the process.) At the first site, you can learn about PowerPoint. At the second website, tutorials offer step by step instructions of the tasks involved in setting up a presentation by modifying the Master Slide of a Template. Note! The "viewlet" library offers all the major applications.
The table of contents is easy to follow. Most of the basic topics needed for creating an effective presentation are covered.
