Tutorials

  1. Here you will find a very easy to understand beginner’s guide to Microsoft Excel. You can work through the tutorial step by step.

  2. This site is great for those who have no experience working with Excel. A narrator guides you through the basics with excellent diagrams and simulations. Review questions are included at the end of each topic.

  3. The web page is divided into links for different basic skills in Excel. Clear instructions, including graphics, are given for each skill listed. Note! The tutorial is also available for Macintosh.

  4. Three great sites for visual learners! These websites offer "viewlets" to help the user understand specific tasks. (A viewlet is an animated presentation with text-bubble or voice commentary to guide you through the process.) The first site has an extensive list of tasks offered in the index. In the second website you learn specific Excel tasks using "viewlets".  The third website to offer "viewlets" has a shorter list of topics to choose from. The tutorials offer great step by step instructions for each task. Note! The "viewlet" libraries offer the major software applications in all the three sites.
